The all carbon steel frame with dual reinforced cross braces has a weight capacity of 450 lbs. The heavy duty, nylon reinforced seat upholstery is 20" wide. The footrests swing away and are easily removed. Maintenance and flat free 12" wheels are on the rear making it easy to maneuver the chair. The desk length arms are removable and reversible. I have fibromyalgia and it is difficult for me to walk long distances or wheel myself with a conventional wheel chair. This transport chair is perfect for someone to push me. The back wheels are larger than some other models, and this makes it easier to push over an uneven surface. I need a wide chair and this model was the only one I could find that would fit through a standard size door. The removeable arm and foot rests make it easier to use in a small space like a cruise ship cabin. Since my husband is tall, it would be nice to be able to raise the handles so he could push without bending over. I did not find this feature on any other model.

Update: I attached long upright mountain bike handle bars (bar ends) to the handles of this chair. They fit perfectly and make my chair so much easier to push.

Update: On two occasions a spoke on a front wheel broke when going forward over a doorsill at a business. I replaced the wheels with ones the same size sold for a Drive Medical Rollator. Those have more spokes.
