I was a bit skeptical about the unit because the price was so low. I have used it to create feather detail in my bird carvings and so far I have been very happy with it. The only thing I would say is has no instructions with the unit, and although the machine is pretty self explanatory, the changing of the bits was a little bit of a challenge. I went on the web and found the unit and the article showed how to change the bits. Real simple, but not obvious. Still beats 700 bucks for a carving unit that does the same thing. I will add to this review down the road as to the durability of the unit. I don't expect any issues as it seems to be well made. The unit ships from China so if you need it right away, this might be a problem as it takes a few weeks to get the unit. I emailed the manufacturer and they explained that they were back logged and the factory couldn't keep up with the orders, I got the unit a week later. I would recommend this unit if you can wait about three weeks for delivery.
