I've been using the neurophone for about 3 months now and I am certain that it is a beneficial device. A word of warning though: it's effects are very subtle and there are some times when I can't really tell that anything is happening. Nonetheless, there are also moments when I can tell that it's having a very potent effect on my cognition and general state of being. What effects are these? To summarize: 1) deep relaxation, 2) expanded/fine-tuned senses - verified in my practice as a wilderness tracker 3) when I wear it to bed, I require less sleep - often waking up very early in the morning feeling completely rested, and 4) a deeper sense of empathy; feeling what others around me feel. This is what truly made me convinced of the Neurophone's worthiness, for I was not expecting in the slightest that I would have any sort of emotional reaction to the device. A skeptical friend of mine told me he was certain this device was a scam and that the effects I experienced were a placebo.
