We put a lot of thought into our selection and we are glad we spent the extra money for this item. It was a perfect fit for our existing cabinet and installation was easy (that is based on me watching my husband install it without hearing any superlatives). The self closing system is a great feature as are the heavy duty aluminum slides - you can't tell the difference when it's fully loaded with trash and heavy recyclables. The only regret I have is that we should have done this a long time ago! Now we just need to train ourselves to stop going to the spot in the kitchen where we used to keep the old trash can.
