I have fibromyalgia and it is difficult for me to walk long distances or wheel myself with a conventional wheel chair. This transport chair is perfect for someone to push me. The back wheels are larger than some other models, and this makes it easier to push over an uneven surface. I need a wide chair and this model was the only one I could find that would fit through a standard size door. The removeable arm and foot rests make it easier to use in a small space like a cruise ship cabin. Since my husband is tall, it would be nice to be able to raise the handles so he could push without bending over. I did not find this feature on any other model.

Update: I attached long upright mountain bike handle bars (bar ends) to the handles of this chair. They fit perfectly and make my chair so much easier to push.

Update: On two occasions a spoke on a front wheel broke when going forward over a doorsill at a business. I replaced the wheels with ones the same size sold for a Drive Medical Rollator. Those have more spokes.

I originally bought this to help my dad hear the TV. (He has 70dB hearing loss w/ 80dB loss at the high end) The detachable mike and the TV extension really work. In fact, when using it, my dad can have the TV so low I can't hear it(a definite positive ;^). He enjoys its benefits so much he wears it nearly all the time. (4 months so far)

We wanted to have some emergency oxygen around for when my elderly Mother-in-Law visits, but typically it requires a prescription and the tanks are large and clumsy, while even the cheapest electrical portable oxygen concentrators are very expensive. This is cheap, easy to get and very portable and easy to store.

It would be nice if the regulator was adjustable, but it is meant as emergency oxygen, so that's understandable it's not. It works fine with the face mask included, but it's too much pressure for comfortable use with a nasal cannula.

Philips Norelco 1180X SensoTouch Electric Razor with GyroFlex 2D Review

This razor gives me the fabulous Norelco electric shave I have always gotten from all my previous Norelcos. The geometry of the 1180X cradles really well in my hands. It's the best shave out of any electric for my face configuration and for my whiskers which are course and hard. I haven't drawn any blood yet.
I rated it with 4 stars. I didn't give it all 5 stars not because of the shave but because of Norelco's engineering and mind set. Instead of plugging the charge cord directly into the body of the razor like all my previous Norelcos, you have to set the shaver back into the stand and then plug into the jack located on the stand. When I'm on the road, which I am alot, I can't just take my razor zipped into the travel bag, I have to take that awkward stand along as well just so that I can plug in to charge. Not so bright Norelco.
Also, Norelco razors are just great as long as the batteries are lasting. Any of you Norelco users will know, once the batts wear out, you're in for an endeavor. I've gone through many small appliance places that won't touch replacing the soldered batts. Batteries-Plus in my area has stopped doing them since they can't get the razors to turn on after soldering in new batts. All I have gotten by calling Norelco, is to just keep searching (They won't do them). So, really,
your Norelco shaver, whether it's a simple HQ type or a fully loaded Arcitec, is really made to be a disposable razor; use it and throw it. Norelco sets it up so you have to go by a new one when the batts go dead. Otherwise, they would make user replaceable batteries.
If you do prefer Norelco shavers though, shop Amazon.com. They seem to have the largest assortment and the lower prices.

I own this light. It is plenty powerful enough, however, even with the amber diffuser cap on, it produces a green tint in many incandescent lighting situations. I'm a wedding photographer so I need to do a lot of things "on the fly" as things can happen very quickly at a wedding. Adjusting WB to compensate for green, sure can be frustrating when it's time to get the shot. For the price I would expect a higher quality item. Also if you lose the charger or burn out the battery you will have a really tough time finding either one. All in all, this light works much better outside for night time stuff as opposed to dark reception halls.
